Since the pandemic began, there are tons of cafes that opened their doors to people wanting a break from being confined at home. You have coffee shops that offer breathtaking views of nature while some coffee shops are aesthetically pleasing to look at and to take pictures of. If you want to post something new on your Instagram or TikTok, Pokko Cafe is a new coffee shop that recently opened in Marikina City.
Pokko Cafe has eye-catching white and teal minimalist interiors, with warm lighting and a few potted plants giving more warmth and life to the space. You can opt to stay in their alfresco area (Don't worry, it's shaded!) if you're not too comfortable dining inside an enclosed space.
You can also stay inside if the Mero Manila heat becomes too unbearable. You'll want to take pictures at the prettiest corner of Pokko Cafe which is the area with the muted teal velvet sofa and a "Good Times. Good Coffee" design on the wall.
Pokko Cafe is currently on its soft opening. The menu is limited to beverages only, ranging from espresso-based lattes, espresso-based frappe (ice-blended drinks), fruity sodas (like Korea's famous ades), to fruity slushies.
If Pokko Cafe were to recommend a drink for first-time customers, the Spanish Latte is a must!
