The cold, hard truth when travelling is that we lack the luxury of time to cross all the places in our itinerary. Although it’s ideal to take our sweet time in exploring a new city, the reality is that we only have a mere few days (or sometimes hours) to go sightseeing.
This seems to be the case of Camille Co, who is currently on an European vacation with her husband, Joni Koro, and their daughter, Sienna. After visiting Joni’s homeland in Finland, Camille and her family’s next destination was Milan, Italy. They stayed there for about four days, but managed to do all sorts of fun things in one of the world’s most fashionable, luxurious cities. Take it from Camille herself to make the most out of your short but sweet trip to Milan, Italy.
Ahead, here are all the spots Camille Co visited in Milan, Italy, as seen on Instagram:
1. Duomo di Milano
The Milan Cathedral, located by the Piazza del Duomo, is easily Milan’s most popular tourist destination. As the city's top tourist attraction, there’s often a long line to get inside. If you don’t have the time to wait, then it’s still perfectly fine to settle for a photo of its stunning exterior.
2. La Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Just outside the cathedral is the world’s oldest active shopping gallery, La Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This place is absolutely photogenic with its superb domes and overall impressive architecture. You’ll find some of the most famous fashion designers stores, including Louis Vuitton and Prada, as well as many high-end restaurants.
3. Via Monte Napoleone
For more shopping, head to Via Monte Napoleone. It's an upscale shopping street in Milan, and is also Europe's third most expensive street! The area also has several food spots, and is perfect for taking photos, too.
