Pia Wurtzbach has weathered many a hate comment on her socials whether it be jabs directed at her or comments pitting women against each other. One thing's for sure: she always takes a stand to stop the hate, as once again evidenced by a recent incident.
Pia Wurztbach responds to a hater on Instagram
Last January 31, 2025, the beauty queen posted a screenshot of a message she received on her Instagram DMs, showing a netizen sending her some unsolicited judgment on her Hermes collection. The person asked her why she only owns black and brown Hermes bags, even claiming, “Para madali iterno? Di afford unique design?”
What began as hateful bashing quickly turned into a vile attack on Pia and her marriage to Jeremy Jauncey when the same user prayed for her divorce and for her husband to realize that she was apparently a “user” who couldn’t “bring anything to the table.” The sender even followed it up by wishing that Pia would become a divorced single mother. Yikes!

Ever the graceful queen, though, Pia took this opportunity to send out a much-needed reminder to her followers and haters. “Wild right? C’mon people. Bagong taon na. Nag CNY pa. It’s exhausting and hurtful din ha. Let’s stop normalizing this kind of online behavior,” she wrote. “Out na natin yung ganito for 2025 and instead, let’s be nice to each other and support and uplift one another.” Hear, hear Queen P!

Pia has long been an advocate for mental health awareness especially since she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety during her reign as Miss Universe. She has always called for respect and kindness online and never takes hate comments lightly, instead treating them as teachable moments for her followers.
