With a catalog of A-list clients, it can get intimidating to follow his lead and tempting to just attribute his success to raw talent and perhaps pure luck. But as we've learned, this is actually a skill that he has developed, and is continuing to innovate. His mindset role-model? Basketball legend Michael Jordan. While it may come as a shock upon first hearing, it actually does make a lot of sense as Pat sees his career as a work in progress which is both humbling and inspiring at the same time.

Far from just pointing and shooting and repeating these steps 1000x a day, he opens up that there is actually a science behind it that requires patience and hardwork aside from just knowing what registers as good on the lens. It's this same work ethic that he looks for in the members of Team Pat Dy as he hopes to reach more couples and capture their precious memories for them. At the rate he's going, we won't be surprised that he achieves the lasting impact on his field the same way Michael had on sports.
