Tripadvisor just released its lineup of the Best of the Best Beaches in its Travelers' Choice Award for 2025. And for Best of the Best Beaches in Asia, two Philippine coasts made the cut: White Beach on Boracay Island and Nacpan Beach in El Nido, Palawan.
This really doesn't come as a surprise, knowing how beautiful our beaches are. Banana Beach in Thailand is recognized as the Best of the Best Beach in Asia, while Elafonissi Beach in Greece is the Best of the Best Beach in the World.

"Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards uniquely reflect the voices of millions of global travelers and help guide people to plan their best trip yet. In my family, beaches aren't just for sunbathing - we like to get out and explore! The diversity of this year's winners really showcases everything that a beach trip can have to offer," said Kristen Dalton, Tripadvisor President, in a statement.
Luzon is also recognized as one of the Best of the Best Destinations in Asia. Bali in Indonesia topped the list for Asia, while London is cited Best of the Best Destination in the World.
4th Best of the Best Beaches in Asia: White Beach in Boracay
"Boracay's most popular beach draws a crowd for good reasons: soft white sand, turquoise waters, and amazing sunsets. It's a great place to swim and snorkel, and when you've worked up an appetite, lots of local dining and drinking joints are just steps away," reads Tripadvisor's citation.
8th Best of the Best Beaches in Asia: Nacpan Beach in El Nido
"Nacpan Beach's golden sands and crystal-clear waters come together for an incredible day trip. You can snorkel, ride the waves, or simply bask in the beautiful sunset. To savor the moment and linger in this tropical haven a bit longer, check out the beach resorts nearby," says Tripadvisor.
23rd Best of the Best Destinations in Asia: Luzon
"The biggest island in the Philippines, Luzon is also one of the most diverse—it’s where mountain peaks and volcanoes meet miles of coastline, and indigenous culture melds with Spanish colonial history. You can relax at the beach in Pagudpud, hike with locals up the Batad Rice Terraces, ride in a horse-drawn carriage in Vigan, snack on street food, and dance the night away in Manila. You’ll need a few days and a bus pass, but you’ll be glad you stayed," says Tripadvisor.
