Korean power couple Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon are officially parents!
Shin Hye’s agency, SALT Entertainment, shared the good news to fans this afternoon, revealing that the actress gave birth to a healthy baby boy in a hospital “somewhere in Seoul.”
It’s mentioned in the statement that both mother and son are currently resting well, alongside Tae Joon and their family and friends.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of the people who have sent their congratulations and please continue to send your blessings and support to Park Shin Hye, Choi Tae Joon, and their baby boy,” concluded SALT’s message.
ICYMI, Shin Hye announced both her pregnancy and engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Tae Joon, last November 2021 after dating for four years. The pair tied the knot two months later at the Oryun Community Church in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
Shin Hye and Tae Joon are both lauded actors in the Korean industry. Where she’s best known for starring in hit dramas like The Heirs, Pinocchio, and the Netflix sci-fi thriller Sisyphus: The Myth, he’s a rising leading man most notable for his performances in So I Married the Anti-Fan, Missing 9, and Suspicious Partner.
