When news first broke about Park Seo Joon entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, K-drama fans, as expected, were spurred into excitement. Now, the first look of the Hallyu actor in The Marvels has been unveiled—and of course, the internet has a lot of things to say.
The What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim leading man makes his Hollywood debut in the Captain Marvel sequel alongside Brie Larson. While his exact role is kept under wraps, rumors flew around the web that Seo Joon is portraying Prince Yan, Captain Marvel’s husband and the monarch of a planet where they “can only communicate in song.”
The details have yet to be confirmed, but the first sneak peek certainly alludes to that. In the teaser trailer's less-than-a-second shot, the Korean star can be spotted in intergalactic regalia with long wavy tresses, wielding a sword and seemingly leading troops into battle.
