Embattled sanctuary Masungi Georeserve can always count on its ally, defender, and honorary ranger Nadine Lustre to lend her voice and influence to support their plight. Nadine participated in tree-nurturing activities at the Masungi Geopark Project, including weeding out grasses and mulching on March 20, 2023.

“Nadine wanted to see how Masungi was doing amid our challenges and came to show support,” Masungi Georeserve Foundation wrote in a statement. According to Masungi Georeserve trustee and project manager Billie Dumaliang, the actress has been an honorary park ranger at Masungi since 2021 and is one of their most vocal defenders and supporters.
