The tandem, portrayed by Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal, has won the attention of regular watchers and casuals alike with their chemistry and witty exchanges. But, little do most viewers know, the pairing’s comedic banters were mostly unscripted!

In a report by ABS-CBN News, actor Anthony Jennings revealed that a chunk of Snoop and Irene’s witty dialogue was improvised by him and Maris. “May adlib, may halong script. Sinusunod pa rin namin 'yung scripts, pero once na may maisip kami na pwedeng idagdag, sinasabi namin kay Direk.”
In between scenes, the two actors would share laughs after coming up with hilarious lines on the spot. “Minsan hindi mo alam kung ano 'yung bloopers namin. Ang dami talaga. Basta hindi ko na maisa-isa. Pag nag-adlib 'yung isa, hindi magpapatalo 'yung isa. Bigayan kami.”
His scene partner echoed his thoughts, as Maris confirmed the anecdote on X. “Haha, halos lahat [unscripted]!” she wrote. “The best ka ka-eksena @Ajenningss_ [laughing emoji].”
In the past few episodes of the teleserye led by Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, the two stars were lauded for the unlikely pairing, with some netizens dubbing them as an up-and-coming “phenomenal love team.”
With their chemistry in the teleserye, their growing fanbase is also clamoring for more of the pair, which Anthony is grateful for. “Hindi lang talaga namin in-expect na aabot sa ganito. Wala naman kaming alam na magkakaroon kami ng eksena,” he said.
“We stand together. Kahit ano naman siguro, pero kung bibigyan ng kasunod, bakit hindi? Kung ano 'yung mangyari, go with the flow naman kami parehas.”
