It's been a year since Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes had cinemas flooding with tears thanks to their movie Rewind. The eventual blockbuster hit was DongYan's first on-screen pairing in over ten years, making it a sentimental favorite not just for their fans, but also for the couple.
Come the holiday season this year, Dingdong decided to surprise his wife with a gift that immortalized Rewind's success and the memories they have with it. Marian was all smiles as she unboxed the present in a Facebook post.

Greeting her followers from her home, Marian showed them a large wooden box given to her by her hubby. "Siguro dahil alam niya na favorite ko ang mag-unboxing," she stated.
Upon reading a note and opening the package, the actress exclaimed "Awww! Oh my god! Pero ang bigat niya," lifting up a metallic sculpture.
The piece had a mirror-like chrome exterior and geometric edges to it. At first glance, Marian immediately recognized the pose. "So ito yung [picture namin] sa [poster ng] Rewind," she said, referencing her and Dingdong intertwined in dance for the movie's official poster. Upon zooming in, one can notice how the sculpture mimics Marian's dress and heels, as well as Dingdong's suit.
"Tears of joy for this gift from my husband! I'm so thankful for the memories in this movie, reminding me of all the moments we’ve shared that I will always treasure," she captioned her video. She the gushed about how she immediately gave Dingdong a big hug upon receiving the gift.
"After nito, tumakbo ako sa kanya at niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. Sabay hagulgol," she arrated. "Arte yarn!? Emotional lang kami na nagkakaintindihan nun." Aww!
This wasn't the first time Marian got emotional over a gift she unboxed. Just recently, her youngest son Sixto had her smitten when he gifted her a new addition to her massive collection of POP MART charms.
