Wedding bells are ringing for Maja Salvador and businessman Rambo Nuñez Ortega! Rambo popped the question during their vacation in Palawan with friends, and it was the perfect way to celebrate Easter Sunday!

The couple excitedly announced their engagement on their Instagram accounts. They shared heartwarming photos of the memorable moment surrounded by friends and loved ones. Maja kept her message short and sweet by captioning her post with “My new beginning” and showing off her large diamond engagement ring! The actress also shared snippets of their special moment, as seen below:
Rambo captioned his announcement post with “The best part is yet to come my love”. Eagle-eyed fans may have suspected what he had planned as his previous post had a teasing caption that says “Every day is a chance for a new beginning. Happy Easter everyone.”
After their big announcement, many of Maja’s celebrity friends like Andie Eigenmann, Sarah Lahbati, Jessy Mendiola, and more were quick to express their sincerest congratulations to the bride-to-be.
Maja and Rambo first became a couple back when the actress was only 21 years old. Due to her young age at the time and desire to focus on her budding career, the couple called it quits. Destiny brought the two back together in March of 2019 and they had had been inseparable since! In a previous interview back in 2020, Maja even mentioned that she and Rambo made the right decision in giving their relationship another try.
