In a recent post, the TikTok account @basicpinay posted a blind item about an unnamed TV host, who is believed to have a not-so-pleasing attitude in real life.
The video stated, "Da who. Female show host na kilala bilang masa at kalog, apaka-taray in real life. According to a clinic owner, banned na ang host from her business dahil walang respeto sa staff niya ito. Ang team ni host ang nakiusap sa clinic na baka pwedeng i-groom siya sa hotel niya before a shoot. Suplada, no eye contact, panay pintas at reklamo ang host despite na team niya ang nakiusap na last minute ex-deal services.
"Si kalog host sa tv, mataray at very conyo pala ang atake in real life."
While the TikTok user didn't name any names, netizens picked up on the clues and took a guess that it was Maine, who couldn't help but react herself. "Ako agad?" she clapped back.
Maine's reply isn't really a direct confirmation or denial of the blind item, but if anything, she's not one to let the critics bring her down. Just recently, she clapbacked at a netizen who called her out for outfit-repeating. "Ang tagal ko nang curious! Hindi ko gets yung big deal sa iba ang pag-ulit ng damit ng public figures. Hehe serious question.. may issue ba sa pag-ulit ng damit?" she wondered. Last year, the actress also addressed accusations of her being "suplada" to a fan in Singapore.
