The actress took to Instagram to share the good news, and in true Maine fashion, it was a wacky selfie of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. with surprised faces and a sparkly diamond visibly seen on her ring finger. "Wait, whaaaat??? We're engaged?!" the caption read with a mind-blown emoji.

Maine shared more selfies of the happy couple with snippets of a field of white blooms behind them. We can just imagine how romantic the full scene was! It has the makings of a fairytale proposal with Maine clad in a dainty off-shoulder puff-sleeved top and Arjo in a dark coat with a round neck tee underneath. So classy!
Arjo posted more snaps from the proposal and it was even dreamier than what we had expected. In the middle of the flowers was a candle-lit platform that bore a marquee that read "Will you marry me?"
What's more, the congressman popped the question on July 28, 2022—exactly 9 years after Maine's prophetic "Arjo cutie" tweet. He even captioned his post: "My turn, I will marry you cutie. 07.28.22" referencing both the date and the endearment used. Aww!
