Lusso, helmed by Chef Margarita Fores, pretty much embodies all things luxe—from their plush interiors that evoke that of a five-star hotel, to their roster of dishes that range from nibble-worthy pica-pica to elegant takes on timeless classics (including their famous foie gras burger!). They've been a go-to among the well-heeled—slash anyone looking to treat themselves (you deserve it!) to a lavish meal—since making their debut at Greenbelt in 2009, and now they're opening a second outpost, this time at Rockwell.

Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, Lusso's new branch is located at Rockwell's Balmori Suites and embodies much of the understated elegance of the original—perhaps with a warmer ambience from the soft wood walls. It nevertheless makes use of velvet wing chairs, gold and brass elements on the tables and elsewhere, and occasional pops of emerald green tones, similar to the Greenbelt branch. Of course, the glittering chandelier hanging from above keeps things sophisticated overall.
In an exchange with SPOT.ph, the restaurant shares that this new outpost—which is on soft opening as of writing—is meant to be a permanent branch. The menu at the moment is trimmed down, but covers most of their best-known dishes—including the Luxe “Mac & Cheese” (P750), one of our favorites of its kind in Manila with pancetta and a trio of cheeses; the decadent-as-can-be Lusso Demi-Pound Burger (P1,150) made with U.S. Beef, stuffed with foie gras, topped with prosecco onions, and kept company by a Cambozola cheese bath; and the no-fail Dry-Aged Rib Eye (P5,850/500 grams) served with a trio of condiments plus asparagus and mashed potatoes. In two weeks' time they'll be rolling out the full menu, too.
