The fan apparently had an issue with Luis and Jessy calling their daughter Peanut, whose full name is Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano.
“Stop calling her Peanut please, it’s a turnoff! Her real name is beautiful, meaningful! Rosary, [a] strand of Rose,” the netizen commented.
As to why some people feel the need to comment on other people’s lives, let alone public figures they hardly know is beyond us, but being the quick-witted and hilarious host he is, Luis put his point across with a dash of humor.
“Pag-uwi ko po, check ko ‘yung birth certificate po niya, baka lang po ‘di ako na-inform na kayo pala magulang niya po. Update ko po kayo,” Luis replied.
When that earned laugh reactions from other netizens, the celebrity posted another follow-up comment to clarify what he truly meant.
“Kulitan aside po, I will forever call her Peanut till my dying breath. Unless ‘pag pinapagalitan ko,” he added with a laugh emoji at the end.
