Louis Vuitton is taking its love for art and culture to the next level by becoming a patron of the prestigious École du Louvre. Announced on Wednesday, the luxury brand is funding a series of scholarships and grants to support students at the renowned institution.
What is the École du Louvre?
Located within the Aile de Flore at the Louvre Palace, the École du Louvre is a top-tier public institution under France’s Ministry of Culture. It specializes in art history, cultural heritage, and museum conservation, offering students unparalleled access to historical masterpieces and hands-on learning experiences.

The brand’s partnership with the school is a full-circle moment, having frequently used the Louvre’s courtyard as a runway, with women’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière regularly showcasing collections there. Pharrell Williams followed suit in January with the Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 show. Now, Louis Vuitton is the first fashion house to officially support the school, funding scholarships for eight students over three years.

What Does the Scholarship Include?
The initiative includes research grants for two doctoral students whose work explores themes connected to Louis Vuitton’s rich history—from travel and exploration to decorative arts and craftsmanship. On top of that, six undergraduate and master’s students from diverse backgrounds will receive living grants to help with their studies.
