Every so often, designer brands tend to branch out into the food and beverage industry. For instance, Dior has its cafes in Paris, Seoul, and Tokyo, and Saint Laurent has a cafe along Rue du Juillet. Well, Louis Vuitton has its own cafe as well, and taking things to the next level, the brand now offers its own luxurious take on the snack time favorite chocolate spread. Since it started to make the rounds on social media recently, netizens have been quick to share their enthusiasm and curiosity for the product.

This hazelnut chocolate spread was made in collaboration with pastry chef Maxime Frederic, the head chef of the Louis Vuitton cafe in Paris. Throughout his tenure, the decorated patissier has been known for creating chocolate deserts fashioned after the house's heritage symbols.
Now, Maxime takes his expertise further with this decadent hazelnut chocolate spread, which is only available in two locations worldwide: in Paris and Singapore, where stocks are just as limited. According to Filipina content creator Jaz Reyes, the luxe chocolate spread contains a unique hint of saltiness that she doesn't usually find in Nutella. "I think this is the only thing worth buying [among the selection of Louis Vuitton chocolates]," she shared in an Instagram story.

Additionally, another TikTok user shared that it has a strong vanilla flavor and that you could easily tell that it's made with high-quality and expensive ingredients. He did, however, express some more practical insights: "I can't imagine spending £400 for this."
