Hollywood, meet Liza Soberano! The Filipina actress is making her debut on the Tinseltown screen in this year’s Lisa Frankenstein, playing opposite actors Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse as the character Taffy. But before movie-goers can catch the full view of the star in action, here are the essentials to know about this exciting new horror-comedy.

Everything You Need to Know About “Lisa Frankenstein”

The Plot

Backdropped by the colorful and eclectic late ’80s, an unpopular high schooler named Lisa (Kathryn Newton) accidentally brings a handsome Victorian corpse (Dylan Sprouse) back to life during a lightning storm. Using a broken tanning bed in her garage, she tries to mold him into her dream man.

With inspiration from the original Mary Shelley 1818 story, Lisa Frankenstein is written by Diablo Cody. The unconventional love story follows the misunderstood teenager and her revived crush on a murderous journey for love, happiness, and everything else in between.
