Ever dreamed of meeting your K-celebrity faves in the flesh? Many might fantasize about bumping into them randomly at cafés, but chances are even higher when they happen to be the owner. Case in point: One South Korea-based Filipino content creator came across Single’s Inferno Season 3’s Lee Jin Seok right at his café!

In a recent Instagram Reel, Filipino content creator Marc Gabriel had the chance to cross paths with Single’s Inferno personality Lee Jin Seok. The creator, who’s based in Seoul, ventured to the Gangnam district of the Korean capital in hopes of meeting the contestant, who owns the café Casanello Sicily.

During one of his idle days, Marc stopped by the Italian-inspired coffee spot. Luckily for him, the dating show contender happened to be working behind the counter! After excitedly spotting him, Marc Gabriel approached Jin Seok and introduced himself as a Single’s Inferno fan from the Philippines. Ever so courteous, the café owner nodded in acknowledgment, bowing his head in greeting.

Viewers of the popular Netflix dating series will remember the 31-year-old Jin Seok as the founder and owner of several cafés in South Korea, including Daegu and the Gangnam hot spot. He takes a hands-on approach with his establishments, as the local chef also creates desserts and brews the coffee himself.

Sweets come aplenty in the café, including a selection of fruit-topped desserts and delectable cakes. The spot’s mix of coffee, meanwhile, speaks to its Italian flavor, with a range of drinks that cost around 3,300 Korean won (approx. P137) to 6,000 Korean won (approx. P250).
