A quick TikTok search brings up hundreds of videos showcasing collector creativity, with many opting for surprising enhancements. Some have taken to adding actual metal braces, while others are giving Labubus a glam touch with customized lash extensions.

A few salons have even joined the trend, like Beautified by Kara Samson (BKS), where Labubu charms get a full lash treatment, complete with UV eyelash glue and tailored lash colors to match each doll's fur.

On the braces front, collectors are going all-out—some using DIY kits while others visit actual dental clinics for professional orthodontic services. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, popular TikTok dentists Doc John the Dentist and Myka Espina Gonzaga have also hopped on the trend, applying braces to Labubus and sparking curiosity among followers about possible public services for doll orthodontics.

Some Filipino dentists-slash-content-creators have also been hopping on the braces trend. Doc John the Dentist, who, as of writing, has 1M followers on Tiktok, and Myka Espina Gonzaga, both shared videos of themselves applying braces on Labubus. While they haven’t explicitly stated that they’ll be extending their orthodontic practice to the public’s dolls, fellow collectors couldn’t help but inquire if they will be willing to do it to their dolls as well.
