Kryztyna Pyszko is Miss World 2024! During the 71st Miss World pageant held in Mumbai, India, Kryztyna was crowned at the Jio World Convention Centre in front of a live audience.

As for this year's runner-up, Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon came in at second place while Aché Abrahams from Trinidad and Tobago and Lesego Chombo from Botswana occupied the third and fourth slots. The event was hosted by Indian filmmaker Karan Johar and our very own Miss World 2024 Megan Young. Passing on the crown, Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska was present to bequeath the newest pageant winner.
When asked why she should be crowned the next Miss World, Kryztyna brought her cause to the forefront and thoughtfully replied: "As of 2024, it's still a fact that 250 million children are out of school worldwide. And that's why my lifelong mission is providing quality education to unprivileged children. I believe that education is a fundamental right every child deserves and I'm here to advocate for those children. It's something I've been doing for a very long time, much before I entered pageantry. It's something that's really close to my heart and what I'll be doing even after I win or don't win Miss World."
This particular year marked a difference in contest format. Most pageants announce their Top 3 or 5 contestants before they announce the winner, but this year the Miss World pageant has done away with that sequence and announced the winner and runner-up after revealing their Top 4. Another change included in the contest format is the representation of each region (Asia and Oceana, Africa, Europe, and America) in every finalist group. For example, among the 12 Semi-Finalists, they included two women per region, and the same for the Top 8. For the Top 4, on the other hand, they included one contestant per region.
