Actress and singer Kristel Fulgar is known for being passionate about Korean pop culture. From indulging in K-dramas and K-pop to even moving to South Korea to master the language, her enthusiasm truly knows no bounds. So when news broke that she would be hosting Seo In Guk's fanmeet in Manila, best believe the Pinay vlogger and her fans were ecstatic!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, however, the situation took a different turn and Kristel was unable to fulfill her role as the fanmeet's host, which she explained in detail on her recent vlog.
“Wala akong ibang tinanggap na hosting [gig], kung hindi ito lang, kasi dahil nga kay Seo In Guk. Alam kong hindi naman ako super expert sa hosting, pero alam kong kaya kong mag-connect sa mga kapwa ko fans,” she says.
According to her, the organizers tapped a different host after their rehearsal.
“Since rehearsal yun, hindi ako sanay na ibigay yung 100% energy ko. So kung makulangan sila sa energy sa rehearsal, ang sabi ko, I will do my best. Nag-expect ako na ipapaakyat ulit ako sa stage para ipakita ko yung 100% na sinasabi ko, pero hindi daw, and currently nag-contact na sila ng ibang host.”
Despite not being able to host the event, Kristel expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet her ultimate idol!

Clad in a black off-shoulder top and loose trousers, which she teamed with a pair of white low-heeled pumps, the actress had the best encounter with the Cafe Minamdang star!
Turns out, he has actually watched some of her vlogs. “I’ve watched you on YouTube, for real! It’s that concert of mine that you attended, right? That’s the vlog I’ve seen. I was so thankful for that,” he tells Kristel. How adorable!
