No matter what age you're in, there’s just something about high school K-dramas that make them so appealing. Maybe it’s the beauty of youth and self-discovery, or maybe it’s the nostalgia. From classic rom-coms like Our Beloved Summer to action-slash-sci-fi genres like Moving, they'll make you want to channel your inner K-drama leading lady and live out your high school dreams.
If you have plans to visit Korea soon, then you’ll definitely want to add this to your itinerary to achieve just that:
Here’s Where You Can Take Aesthetic Yearbook Photos in Korea
Cool Captures is a self-shoot studio in Korea where all the cool kids (and adults!) go for aesthetic Y2K yearbook-themed photos. Local influencer and content creator Rei Germar recently went on a trip to Korea, and as a Y2K fashion queen, she was compelled to drop by and take some of the cutest snaps, too!
Ready to create your lasting memories with this unique photoshoot experience? They have two kinds of photo packages: Basic and Special. Here’s what you can expect from each package:
Basic Package
The Basic package costs 50,000 won (approximately P2,150). It includes 15 minutes of preparation time, 15 minutes of shoot time, 10 minutes to select one photo of your choosing, and correction. You then get to go home with one 4x6 print, one Polaroid photo, and one frame.
Special Package
The Special package costs 150,000 won (approximately P6,500). It includes 15 minutes of preparation time, 15 minutes of shoot time, and 10 minutes to select four photos of your choosing, plus photo correction. You then get to go home with 4 4x6 prints, one Polaroid photo, one frame, and one A4 4-cut frame poster.
To really sell the high school K-drama dream, they provide costumes that you can rent for 10,000 won or roughly P430. You can also take photos with your friends or significant other for 30,000 won or roughly P1,300 for each additional person.
They also have two other concepts aside from their “High Teen” theme that is just as aesthetic: their Film concept and Elevator concept which Rei also happened to try. Check out her cool pics below:
Cool Capture is located at 04056, 3rd floor, 2, Sinchon-ro 2an-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. For more information on their studio visit their website.
