The two seem to be fated both for and against each other, as tensions rise within their village. Yoo Jung joins the cast as the pre-adolescent Eun-chae.

Once just a lowly water maid, Dong Yi (Han Hyo Joo) rises up the ranks as King Sukjong's (Ji Jin Hee) concubine, and later on, becomes the queen of Joseon. She devotes her adult life to absolving the crimes her family was wrongully accused for when she was a child (She was played by Yoo Jung in those scenes).
