Solo trips can be a unique and rewarding experience that everyone should consider at least once in their lifetime. Case in point: Kim Chiu, who had the time of her life when she recently went to Singapore for The Eras Tour.
ICYDK, the actress is a big Swiftie and watched Taylor Swift's Speak Now and Red concerts in Manila. When the opportunity to watch the pop icon's latest concert came, she didn't waste the opportunity to watch it—even if it meant just staying in Singapore for 10 hours and getting ready in a public restroom!
She narrated, "Habang naglalakad ako, I've met mga Pinoy. Nakakatuwa, nagugulat sila. Oo, ako lang mag-isa! Its's fun naman, nakikipagkwentuhan ako with them. Yun yung nakakatuwa when you travel alone, you meet new people."
She also had the most empowering lesson on traveling solo. "As you can see, I am traveling solo. And may nabasa 'kong quote na 'As you travel solo, being totally responsible for yourself, it's inevitable that you will discover just how capable you are.'
"So, parang merong sense of self-discovery when you travel alone. And medyo scary siya, pero pag hindi mo hinaharap kasi yung fear mo, it will always haunt you," she shared in a vlog.
