Expect nothing more than thought-provoking and inspired work from Kanye West. The rapper just recently debuted the music video for Famous from his latest album, The Life of Pablo, on Tidal at the Los Angeles Forum.
This NSFW music video was directly inspired by American realist Vincent Desiderio’s 2008 Sleep painting. Although in West’s rendition, he strips down twelve of society’s figures and places them side by side with West in the middle.

The video includes George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, his wife Kim Kardashian West, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, and Bill Cosby.
While West is known for his jaw-dropping moments, this is probably his most provocative and impacting work yet, challenging and raising music video-making to a level of an art piece. Commenting on fame, he imparts that, stripped beneath the sheets, celebrities are pretty much like any of us.
