Netflix's glory days are far, far from over—and we're of course pertaining to the groundbreaking Song Hye Kyo K-drama that's been making waves ever since its premiere. The two-part series has virtually never left the platform's Top TV Shows list, and even weeks after its finale, it continues to be a hot topic among viewers.
In fact, Hye Kyo just brught home the Best Actress award at the recently concluded 2023 Baeksang Arts Awards! A true testament to the show's unforgettable impact.
Aside from the leading lady's harrowing performance as Moon Dong-eun though, The Glory's ensemble cast also contributed to its massive success. A scene-stealer in his own right was Jung Sung Il, a 43-year-old actor who took on the role of Ha Do-yeong, the husband of Dong-eun's high school bully. They say that everyone loves a villain, and we'd argue the same for that villain's just-as-sly partner.
Sung Il's been in the biz for more than two decades now, with most of his work actually done on the theater stage. In case you've been meaning to see more of his stuff on-screen, we list down a few of his must-watch titles ahead.
