1. He is a cat person.

James has had five cats, and he believes that feline temperament just matches his personality better. He considers them very chill—just like him!

2. He bought his first album at 10 years old.

Not only was Daft Punk's Discovery album the first record he purchased, but he also bought a matching poster—the very first poster he stuck on his wall!

3. He is an entrepreneur.

What do Japonesa, Alamat, West 32 and HQ have in common? Aside from being hip Poblacion hot spots, these are all business ventures owned by James. 

4. He tried skydiving for the first time in Dubai.

He considers it the craziest thing he's ever done!

5. His secret talent is he can make water drop sounds with his mouth.

Being an award-winning musician, we're not surprised that he'd be a pro at voice sound effects, too!

6. His guilty pleasure movie is "Moulin Rouge."

The scene when Nicole Kidman gasps as Ewan McGregor breaks into a song greatly moved the singer to aspire for his music to have the same effect on people.  

7. He collaborated with Korean pop star B.I in the song "Jacuzzi."

While you've likely heard the James x B.I. track Jacuzzi, did you know? It wasn't the first time they performed together. James was actually a special guest at B.I.'s Philippine concert back in 2023.

While they're all over the world, James is close to all of them! 

9. He got starstruck when he met Anderson .Paak.

James is no stranger to rubbing elbows with international celebrities, but he was particularly starstruck when he met singer and rapper Anderson .Paak. They have the same producer in LA!
