Looking back at her massive diamond purchase, Ivana told Philstar.com, “Maybe because when I was younger, inaantay ko 'yung engagement ko. I told myself, 18 years old papakasal na ako, eh wala. I was 25 or 26 na ata nun. Alam mo, ayoko na mag-antay and gusto ko kasi 'yung malaking ring. Pangarap ko 'yun since I was collecting smaller rings when I was younger."
The dazzling piece, which Ivana wore for a campaign shoot with jewelry brand LVNA by Drake Dustin, was originally designed as a one-of-a-kind creation for the photoshoot. But when Ivana couldn’t get the ring out of her mind, she knew she had to have it. Despite the jeweler’s initial surprise, the very next day, she made a deposit and secured what she now considers one of the most special pieces in her collection.

For Ivana, the diamond ring is more than just a stunning accessory; it’s a testament to her hard work and independence. In the same interview with Philstar.com, she emphasized that relationships should never be about material gifts. “I believe sa mga relasyon, hindi ka papasok para bilhan mo ako ng ganito or ng ganyan,” she said. “I can buy myself the diamonds that I want. I can buy myself whatever I want, and that’s why I work hard and that’s why I’m inspired to keep working.”
While Ivana has kept mum about whether or not she already found her future groom, one thing’s for sure: Ivana isn’t waiting for a man to fulfill her dreams. She’s living them every day—with or without a diamond on her finger.
