Of the total number, Italian authorities issued 14,781 visas, for an approval rate of 94.7 percent.
Filipinos dreaming of visiting Italy are in luck as the Embassy of Italy in Manila and its visa outsourcing partner VFS Global have opened new visa application centers in Taguig, Cebu, Batangas, and Davao. These new visa centers, which are equipped with modern amenities and services will make it much easier for travelers to submit their applications. The facilities will also have well-trained customer service representatives to assist visa applicants at every step.
Officials said Italy visa applicants will also get dedicated call center support, as well as click-to-talk facility, webchat, email, webform, and chatbot support to answer their most pressing queries.

"Philippines is a key source tourism and business market for Italy and we are taking every possible measure to ease and streamline processes for travelers,” said Ambassador of Italy to the Philippines His Excellency Marco Clemente. “The establishment of these new centers is an important step towards this strategy to further develop our bilateral relations. Applicants in the Philippines will now be able to apply for Italy visa in four key cities, from two earlier, helping them save their time and cost of travel."
“These new visa application centres will help us in providing high-quality service to Italy visa applicants in the Philippines through a seamless visa application submission process,” he added. “I think it is another excellent occasion to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic ties.”
The new visa centers will offer a Premium Lounge for more personalized service for Italy visa applicants. The centers will also offer a range of optional and additional services, including courier services, travel insurance, translation, mail-in applications, prime time submission beyond normal working hours, and personal assistance service.
The Italy visa application centers are open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and are located in the following addresses:
