On the heels of her stylish Milan Fashion Week jaunt, Issa Pressman looked laidback yet still chic as she attended the special advanced screening of Lisa Frankenstein last Tuesday, February 6.

Issa graced the Hollywood film's premiere night in Manila in support of Liza Soberano, a fellow artist from Careless Management. Clad in a casual yet fun OOTD—a colorful printed poplin blouse with billowy sleeves and a pair of black shorts—she talked to the press about her own creative ventures.
“I’m actually developing something that I’m launching soon. Pero I’m not gonna give that out pa muna. I’ve been working on it,” said Issa, who earlier announced that she's leaving behind acting to focus more on fashion and music.
Issa Pressman on Her Relationship with James Reid
During the same interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, the 28-year-old artist didn't shy away from answering more controversial questions from the press. When asked about her status with James Reid, Issa candidly opened up about "tough" it was when they initially made their relationship public.
“Nakakatakot before,"Issa admits. "It feels relieving [now]. At least ngayon nakakahinga na ako. It was quite tough, it was really rough. Now I just feel that there is more love around."
Issa also credited James for being a good support system. "Ang galing niya mag-support. I don’t think I’d be able to get through all of these if not for him, the support, security that he’s able to give. Not everyone knows but he’s very, very wise. The words that he gives to me are fulfilling. You feel secure, you feel safe."
Issa Pressman on How She Deals with Bashers
So how does Issa deal with the online hate that she's been getting? She simply doesn't give them the time of day, says Issa.
“I don’t put my energy into that," she reveals matter-of-factly. "I cannot control [the bashers] naman, 'di ba? I cannot control how they speak or what they want to say. But what I can control is how I accept those things.”
