Drive-thru services have long been associated with fast food and quick service. But five-star hotel InterContinental Singapore has elevated this idea, offering the world's first "Champagne Express Lane." It is available from October 25, 2024 to the last day of the year.
The Champagne Express Lane Experience at InterContinental Singapore
Not limited to hotel guests, visitors can drive up to the hotel and enjoy a curated selection of the finest champagnes, served with the same attention to detail and quality as one would expect in a five-star setting. This unique offering not only provides a safe and convenient way to enjoy a glass of bubbly but also elevates the drive-thru model to a new level of luxury.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a sommelier who guides them through the champagne selection, offering insights into the origins and characteristics of each option. This interaction is designed to be both informative and engaging, allowing guests to savor each sip while learning about the nuances of the different champagnes on offer. The hotel has also considered the aesthetics of the experience, with each vehicle receiving a bespoke takeaway box. Guests also have the option of ordering online, and the hotel's butler will deliver their box directly to their car window.

"As one of the key global markets for champagne and sparkling wines, Singapore continues to offer some of the world's best experiences for wine enthusiasts and luxury travelers to enjoy. With a growing number of members-only wine clubs such as Tenuta by Park90, and most recently with global wine rating app Vivino opening its world's first retail store in Raffles City, there is no doubt Singapore is among the world's best destinations for champagne and fine wines," Andreas Kraemer, General Manager at InterContinental Singapore, said in a press statement.
