Hallyu heartthrob Hyun Bin is the next celebrity to grace the hallowed halls of Madame Tussauds!
The London-based museum announced last May 27 that Hyun Bin will officially be immortalized with a wax figure of his own at their Hong Kong branch. This will put him at the same place that houses the figures of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.
“When Madame Tussauds approached me for a wax figure immortalisation, I was very excited and looking forward to seeing the actual figure! Can’t wait to show everyone how my figure will look like,” said the Crash Landing on You actor in a statement.
As per Madame Tussauds, Hyun Bin’s wax figure will be toured around three of their museums in Asia: namely, Madame Tussauds Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
In case you were wondering, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has already immortalized a number of Korean stars prior to Hyun Bin, and all their figures are displayed at the attraction’s K-Wave Zone. This includes Start-Up star Bae Suzy, known as the first Korean female celebrity to be chosen by the museum for such a milestone.
Ahead, check out all the other Korean stars with wax figures at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong:
Bae Suzy
Kim Soo Hyun
Lee Jong Suk
Super Junior’s Choi Siwon
TVXQ
Bae Yong Joon
2PM’s Nichkhun Horvejkul
