Any average Netflix viewer has probably already fired up Hunger on their screens. The Thai film stars model-actress Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying as an aspiring cook training under an infamously unforgiving chef. The title has had a firm stance in the platform's Top 10 Movies list since its premiere, making it a must-watch for anyone craving a riveting drama.
Though, most Pinoy fans couldn't help but notice something else about the film. Viewers had to do a double take upon seeing the lead actress' appearance, since they claimed that she had a striking resemblance to Manila-based Taiwanese model Jessica Yang. And to be honest, we see it, too!
Netizens Saying Jessica Yang Looks Like Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying
On Jessica's recent Instagram posts, her followers commented how they initially thought she was starring in the Netflix original.
One confused fan even complimented her for how "stunning" she looked in a chef's white dress, to which Jessica finally replied: "The amount of tags and [mentions] I get from that movie is insane [laughing emoji]."
Preview got in touch with Jessica, and she revealed to us that it actually wasn't the first time she's been compared to Chutimon. In fact, since her 2017 movie Bad Genius came out, she's been getting it a lot. "I just wonder if her face can unlock my phone," she quips. Jessica adds that someone even told her to "stay grounded" amidst her rising popularity. LOL!
See the resemblance for yourself by catching Hunger on Netflix right now.
