Here's How Your Favorite Stars Celebrated Valentine's Day 2022

Whether it's a simple bouquet of flowers, a dinner date, a quick beach getaway or maybe just spending quality time with family, the day has always been about letting people know you appreciate them. Take it from these celebrities who proved that heart’s day can be special in many ways. 

Here’s how some of our favorite celebrities spent Valentine’s Day 2022:

1. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla

The power couple celebrated V-day in a simple way this year. Kathryn shared a collaged photo of herself holding a bouquet of red roses and tagged boyfriend Daniel Padilla. 

Daniel, the gentleman that he is, also sent flowers to Kathryn’s mom and nieces. “Happy Valentine’s Day, thanks for the flowers @supremo_dp,” Min Bernado wrote in a caption.

The pair was also spotted on a double camping date with friends Sofia Andres and her partner, Daniel Miranda. 

2. Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil

The rumored stars of the Philippine adaptation of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Lizquen went on a dinner date for heart’s day. The couple posted photos of each other from the same night on their social media accounts with Liza holding a bouquet of flowers, while she snapped Enrique reading a card. 

“To my gorgeous and only valentine, this is your night my love. Happy valentine's day, I love you forever and always,” Enrique wrote on his post.

3. Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos

Last year, Gablil went viral for their cute Valentine's celebration. This year, the Internet’s favorite OTP decided to keep it virtual as both were busy with lock-in tapings. In a hilarious post, Khalil uploaded a photo of their virtual date featuring a shot of Gabbi in tears. Don't worry, though, they already had a pre-Valentine’s date before this! 

4. Kylie Verzosa and Jake Cuenca

The couple also celebrated V-day away from each other, but distance didn’t stop Jake from surprising Kylie. The beauty queen-turned-actress posted a gorgeous photo of flowers along with Jake's sweet message saying, “Counting the days when I finally see you.”

5. Sue Ramirez and Javi Benitez

The Broken Marriage Vow actress received a bouquet of lovely flowers from beau Javi Benitez. They also went on a double date with a couple from Bacolod who won Javi’s Valentine giveaway. 

6. Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque

Bea and Dominic took a weekend in El Nido, Palawan and shared videos of their dinner date and yacht getaway. As a gift for fans, Bea also uploaded a Valentine vlog featuring her boyfriend as they shared stories of their first meeting through Vice Ganda, their first kiss, and their small quarrels.

7. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim

The Kapamilya actors also went on a quick beach trip. In a post, Kim shared a series of funny jump shots with Xian, whom she's been dating since 2012. 

8. Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez

Maja spent Valentine’s Day with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Rambo, along with some friends. The couple actually dated back in 2010, but broke up due to Maja’s showbiz career. They eventually got back together again in 2019 to give their relationship a second chance.

9. Angel Locsin and Neil Arce

They finally have wedding rings! The actress shared the good news to fans with a photo of her and her husband, film producer Neil Arce, who surprised Angel during a pre-Valentine dinner date. She wrote, “Sabi ko simplehan lang! May pa-wedding ring si Mr. Arce. Finally, may wedding ring na rin kami. Thank you my love.”

FYI, Angel and Neil didn’t have official rings when they got married in a civil ceremony last year. When they were asked for rings, Angel used her engagement ring while Neil borrowed one from his son. 

10. Elisse Joson and McCoy De Leon

Before going on a date with Elisse, McCoy made sure he was there for his daughter’s first Valentine’s. In a heartfelt post, the actor took a photo of a nine-month old Felize beside a teddy bear and flowers that he gave. 

The new parents then found time for a date night! McCoy even prepared a surprise for Elisse. 

11. Kryz Uy and Slater Young

“My sweet little Valentine,” captioned Kryz on her IG post. At the Skypod, she was gifted with a DIY bouquet made by her son and helpers, who picked out fresh flowers from their front yard. Meanwhile, she and husband Slater also celebrated with a simple lunch date at home. 

12. Andi Manzano and Family

The vlogger and entrepreneur was surprised with three sets of flowers by her husband, GP Reyes. Along with personalized letters, one bouquet was given to Andi, and two were for their lovely daughters, Olivia and Amelia. 

13. Bianca Umali 

Celebrating Valentine’s Day doesn’t always have to be with a significant other. For her part, Bianca Umali spent the holiday by  surprising her grandmother, Vicky Manalo, with a ton of red and pink balloons. 

14. Coleen Garcia-Crawford and Billy Crawford

Speaking of balloons, Coleen Garcia also received her own along with a grand bouquet of red roses from her husband, Billy Crawford. Meanwhile, their son, Amari, was gifted a teddy bear and blue balloons. 

15. Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho

“What do you give to someone who has everything?,” captioned Doc Hayden Kho on his Instagram post. Well, we’re curious as well! Make sure to watch Dra. Belo’s next YT vlog as her husband takes over and shares the details on his grand Valentine’s surprise. From the looks of it, Hayden planned a swanky, candlelit dinner filled with red roses at Okada Manila.

16. Maymay Entrata

The 24-year-old actress went Instagram official with a mystery man on Valentine’s day. In a post, Maymay shared a photo of herself in the arms of her boyfriend, with the caption “Happy Birthday my Valentino,” she captioned. 

17. Glaiza de Castro and David Rainey

Glaiza de Castro revealed her wedding with businessman David Rainey in an Instagram post, just in time for Valentine’s Day. In an exclusive interview with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on February 13, Glaiza revealed that she got married back in October 2021 in Ireland. Along with her announcement is the plan to have a church wedding in the Philippines and the launch of the newly wedded couple’s Youtube channel.

18. Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

Love truly wins this Valentine’s Day as the 45-year old comedian-host uploaded a surprise vlog on the 14th. While it wasn't a legal wedding yet, Vice shared clips of a commitment ceremony with Ion Perez in a Las Vegas chapel that happened back in October 2021.
