The Philippine Statistics Authority' (PSA)'s Labor Force Survey (LFS) was recently released. With it, we learn more about the highest-paying occupations in the Philippines, how much the average Filipino professional earns in a day, and more.
Based on the April 2024 LFS, it turns out that managers still receive the highest average daily wage at P1,400 based on daily basic pay. These professionals in the Philippines are defined as people who "plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the overall activities of enterprises, governments, and other organizations."
Following managers are professionals, who are defined as workers who employ scientific or artistic concepts and theories for their roles. These include employees in fields such as sciences, social sciences, legal and social services, and the arts.
The Highest-Paying Jobs in the Philippines for 2024
- Managers (P1,400)
- Professionals (P1,222)
- Armed Forces (P1,208)
- Technicians/Associate Professionals (P792)
- Clerical Support Workers (P728)
- People who work in the armed forces; those who serve as technicians and associate professionals; and clerical support workers round out the rest of the top five. It should be noted that jobs in civil defense, the police force, and customs inspections are excluded from the figures for armed forces workers.
Meanwhile, technicians and associate professionals are mostly jobs that focus on the application of scientific or artistic concepts, operational methods, and government. Clerical support workers, on the other hand, specialize in recording, organizing, gathering information, and handling clerical tasks.
On the other side of the spectrum, the survey by the PSA also showed the lowest-paying occupations based on daily basic pay.

- Elementary Occupations (P403)
- Skilled Agricultural, Forestry, and Fishery Workers (P443)
- Service and Sales Workers (P508)
- Craft and Related Trades Workers P541)
- Plant and Machine Operators and Assemblers (P554)
For these titles, elementary occupations refer to individuals who work with hand-held tools. Skilled agricultural workers are people in the soil preparation industry, specializing in fertilizing, breeding, hunting, catching fish, and harvesting crops.
