Sometimes, you enter a place and come out a changed person. And we don't just mean in a profound way either; sure there are new learnings, experiences, stresses—a new item, or hairstyle, heck, a tattoo. For that last one, enter Higher Ground Specialty Coffee in Alabang, where you can get a cup of joe with some new ink on the side, so to speak.

Come in for a beverage and get a minimalist tattoo while you're at it when you visit this coffee, bike, and tattoo shop—yup, three-in-one—located at the River Park, Festival Mall.
Once you finally have this major life decisions, err, we mean which bev to order cemented in your head, you can head to the fishbowl on the counter. Take your pick from the minimalist tattoo designs—prices start at P500—and have it done courtesy of the 1916 Tattoo Shop. You can bring in your own design, too, and speak with the artists if they're game to ink it on you. If you have been wanting to get inked, here's your sign to do so (just make sure you tell mom first, or at least make sure you can live with the consequences of your actions).
For a first-timer tattooie, we say don't drink too much coffee before getting one. But of course, it's always best to ask your tattoo artist about the Dos and Don'ts before the whole process. The promo is available until further notice so head on South ASAP. They accept walk-ins or bookings.
Higher Ground Specialty Coffee's offerings start at P130. You can choose from their espressos, slow brews, and specials (like their bestselling Charcoal for P230) if you want that hint of caffeine in your veins. They also serve teas and frappes as well as great bites. And just in case you're not up for coffee or a tattoo, you can also find a variety of two wheels plus bike services in the same establishment courtesy of Twelve Bikes.
Higher Ground Specialty Coffee, 1916 Tattoo Shop, and Twelve Bikes are located at The River Park, Festival Supermall Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
