Heart Evangelista's new GMA show Heart World officially made its debut on October 26. As anticipated, the reality television series was a behind-the-scenes look at Heart's life as a rising icon in the global fashion world, specifically focusing on her adventures in Paris Fashion Week through the years.
Heart Evangelista Reveals What It Was Like Meeting Song Hye Kyo
One of the anecdotes that piqued the interest of fans was Heart's firsthand account of what it was like meeting South Korean superstar Song Hye Kyo. She met the 42-year-old actress in a gala for luxury jewelery house Chaumet on July 3, 2022.
For the event, Heart donned a white bustier dress by Mark Bumgarner, and accessorized with glamorous diamond jewelry. Song Hye Kyo was similarly a vision in a subtle black two-piece set and emerald jewelry.
Heart revealed that she had been a fan of Song Hye Kyo since the latter's appearance on the South Korean show "Full House," which aired in 2004. Heart had starred in the 2009 Filipino adaptation of the same material, where she also played the female lead. "Sobrang ganda niya!" Heart said.
"Gustong-gusto ko na talaga siya kasi pinapanood ko 'yung 'Full House.' Tapos ang cute-cute niya. Kung ano 'yung hitsura niya noong bata siya, 'yun pa rin ang hitsura niya hanggang ngayon." she gushed.
According to Heart, Song Hye Kyo was very sweet, yet her status as a top star was felt. "Makikita mo talaga na siya 'yung reyna ng lahat," she said.
Heart Evangelista Recalls Meeting Other International Celebrities

In addition to her recollection of meeting Song Hye Kyo, Heart took the time to look back on her encouter with the famed Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The two had briefly met over a Vogue-hosted breakfast in Paris in March 2022. "Talagang you can see na everybody natatakot sa kanya."
"Naka-shades siya lagi, which I understand now kasi minsan, 'pag hindi ka naka-shades, siguro mas vulnerable ka sa mga taong chi-chikahan ka, eh may pupuntahan ka. So kunyari, medyo detached ka. 'Yun yung nafe-feel ko sa kanya. Pero siya talaga yung queen of the queens of fashion," Heart shared.

She then met the Emily in Paris cast at a fashion show, where she was seated in the front row right next to Camille Razat and Ashley Park, who play Camille and Mindy, respectively, on the hit Netflix show.
"'Yung naging mabait sa akin was Camile. Mabait na mabait siya. She was very down-to-earth, and I remember she invited me for dinner, but when it's fashion week, wala talagang oras para makipag-chikahan," Heart said.
