Paris Haute Couture Week stands as one of the most illustrious and highly anticipated fashion events worldwide. Every year, the crème de la crème of the fashion industry gathers in the French capital to witness exquisite designs in breathtaking runway shows produced by the most revered fashion houses. It's attended by A-list celebrities from around the globe—and this year, one name shone brighter than the rest. We're talking about the Philippines' very own Heart Evangelista, who has cemented her position as the leading celebrity from the Asia-Pacific region at Paris Haute Couture Week in 2023.
Launchmetrics, a leading software company specializing in brand performance for the fashion, luxury, and beauty industries, recently unveiled its highly anticipated list ranking the media impact value (MIV) of attendees at the prestigious fashion week. The MIV represents the monetary value of public posts, articles, and audience interactions generated by influential figures present at the event.
As reported by WWD, the event generated a staggering total of $118 million in MIV, with Heart contributing $1.27 million across 11 placements, making her take the top spot of most influential celebrities in the Asia-Pacific region!
Coming in second was Indian actress and model Urvashi Rautela, who generated $1.24 million. Other Asian celebrities also made the cut, including To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star Lana Condor and K-Pop girl group aespa, contributed $767,000 and $616,000, respectively.
It's no surprise that the actress has been hailed as the number one fashion influencer in the region. After all, she also ranked third among the most impactful celebrities who attended Paris Couture Week in 2022. Way to go, Heart!
