Heart Evangelista took to TikTok to shut down negative commenters associating her youthful appearance with being child-free. The aforementioned unsolicited comment came from a video post featuring her with Anne Curtis while attending a Loewe event.

While one TikTok user complimented Heart, writing, "parang ang bata ni Heart, this innocent compliment took a sharp turn when another netizen replied, "wala kasing anak," implying that her glowing look is solely because she has yet to become a biological mom.

On May 16, 2024, Heart responded to the comment in a separate TikTok video: "Abangan na yan sa kanto [grinning face with sweat emoji]."
Acting like she was trying to hold herself back, she opened her statement with: "Wait lang ha, napipikon ako sayo ha."
She initially urged the commenter to comment using a real account. She went on to say, "But since you did not use your real account, so, I can not address you properly, and I will not address you properly."
Taking another brief pause and suppressing her frustration, Heart said, "My dear, it's already 2024." She continued: "I have lost four babies already. Don't give me this shit."
The video then segued to her reaction to another unfair and misguided criticism. Heart mentioned: "So may nag-comment na ‘You're only pretty because you do not have a child.’"
This time, in a snappier tone, she clarified that her appearance is a product of proper maintenance by beauty professionals in the beauty industry. The 39-year-old style maven explained, "Darling, nag-e-effort po akong magpaganda and I live a very grateful and peaceful life. That makes a big difference."
She quickly added: "And every day po ako nagde-derma kaya ako fresh."
