Netizens React to Heart Evangelista's Dog Wearing Bulgari Necklace
While some netizens were amused to see Panda donning the diamond-encrusted necklace, others found the display problematic. Critics quickly pointed out that the post's messaging felt tone-deaf, especially considering Heart's position as the Senate First Lady.
One netizen on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, "This coming from an immediate family of a public official is distasteful and out of touch." Another comment on Facebook echoed similar sentiments: "Napaka-inappropriate din na asawa ng isang public servant sinusuotan ng mamahaling alahas ang alagang aso," a Facebook user wrote.

Heart Evangelista Responds to Criticisms Over Photos of Her Dog Wearing a Bulgari Necklace
Days later, Heart addressed the backlash during a live session on Instagram.
Heart didn't mince words while responding to the criticisms. "I own the necklace. You know, I can do whatever I want. I didn't pull it out," she stated firmly, making it clear that the accessory was a personal purchase. "Basically, Panda owns the necklace, so hindi siya loan. So she can do whatever she wants with it," Heart concluded.
Following the statement, netizens' reactions remained split over her explanation. Some offered their support to Heart, with one TikTok comment stating: "Why is she being judged for using her own stuff?"

Other netizens, however, remained critical, with some even labeling her as "insecure."
