When it comes to global culinary icons, few names resonate as strongly as Gordon Ramsay. This January, the British celebrity chef is making his way to the Philippines, bringing his signature style and expertise to Filipino diners.

The MasterChef and Hell’s Kitchen judge is set to visit Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines, his first restaurant in the country, located at Newport World Resorts, Pasay City. As part of his trip, Bilyonaryo reports that the celebrity chef will be hosting a special, invite-only event on January 20 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. The evening will offer an intimate experience with Gordon himself, who’s known for his passion for food and dedication to excellence. 

The celebrity chef shared his excitement on Facebook when he reshared a post from the Manila restaurant, which depicted his famous take on the British classic fish and chips. “Can’t wait to serve this to everyone when I’m in the Philippines next week,” he wrote.

What to Expect at Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill Philippines

Opened in August 2024, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines marks the chef’s first restaurant in the country and only his second in Asia. Located at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City, the restaurant offers a dining experience that merges British culinary traditions with Gordon’s signature modern touches.

The menu boasts a selection of standout dishes designed to impress. Highlights include the iconic Beef Wellington (P3,888), featuring tender beef wrapped in mushroom duxelles and flaky pastry, paired with creamed potatoes and a rich red wine jus. Another must-try is the classic Fish & Chips (P1,999), made with Pacific grouper in a light, crispy batter, served alongside golden fries, crushed peas, and tartare sauce.
