Do you hear the wedding bells ringing? Congratulations are in order for Miss Grand International 2020’s Fabiola Valentín and Mariana Varela, who have officially tied the knot!
The 2020 pageant’s Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Argentina announced their union through a surprise Instagram post, which included a video montage of the couple throughout the course of their relationship. “After choosing to keep our relationship private, we open our doors to a special day,” they captioned the post in Spanish, adding heart, ring, and sparkle emojis.
Capping off spliced clips of beachside strolls and travels together, the couple concluded the video with a glimpse of their intimate proposal, snaps of their engagement bands, and their heartwarming white-clad union on October 28 at the Marriage Bureau of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The pair met during the 2020 edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, where they both placed in the competition’s top 10. Their fellow beauty queens offered their well wishes to the newlyweds in the comments section, including Miss Grand International 2020 winner Miss USA Abena Akuaba, Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera, and Philippines’ very own 2020 representative and first runner-up, Samantha Bernardo.
