Squid Game is back for its second season and everyone’s already picked their new favorite players. One crowd pleaser who’s won over the internet just happens to be a supporting character who, in our opinion, deserved more screen time for her face card alone. We’re talking about Player 380 or Se-mi, a laidback strategist with a heart, who has generated popular TikTok edits and social media posts dedicated to her cool beauty.
One Facebook user mentioned that she watched Squid Game 2 for the plot with the plot really being Player 380’s good looks. Meanwhile, a tweet on X praised the show for their impeccable casting choices. “Squid Game makers know how to bring [the] audience to watch the show by casting the hottest women known to mankind in every season & this time its player 380,” it read.
And because we completely agree, we couldn’t help but want to get to know the actress behind the character better.

While Player 380’s year of birth is 1996 in the show, Ji An is actually a 1999 baby in real life. The Gen Z actress was born Kim In Seon in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on August 17.
She debuted in 2021
In her first year of acting, Ji An already locked in two significant roles: the first is an appearance on the Netflix military drama D.P., and the second is for the new year film A Year-End Medley where she got to act beside industry heavyweights like Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and Han Ji Min.

She finally won her first Best Rookie Actress award in 2023 at the Korea First Brand Awards for her performance in If You Wish Upon Me, a K-drama that starred Ji Chang Wook and Choi Soo Young.
