South Korean actor Park Min Jae passed away last November 29, 2024. He was only 32 years old. His death was confirmed by his agency, Big Title, yesterday, December 2. “Actor Park Min-jae, a beautiful actor who loved acting and always did his best for himself, has passed away,” their post read.
They added, “We are truly grateful for the love and interest you have shown actor Park Min-jae. Although we will no longer be able to see his acting, we will remember him and be proud of him as an actor at Big Title. We pray that the deceased may rest in peace."
He’s made appearances on several TVCs, web dramas, and K-dramas such as Snap and Spark (2023). Ahead are five things to know about the late actor.
Who Was Park Min Jae?
1. He was a Cancer.
Born on June 25, Park Min Jae was a Cancer. People ruled by this sign are often known to be very emotional, intuitive, creative, and sentimental.

2. He was very close with his brother.
A quick swipe through his younger brother’s Instagram highlights and it’s clear the two had a very deep bond. The siblings had a shared love for culture and the arts and they would visit museums, read books, drink, and travel together. On his Instagram, he wrote, “Our beloved older brother has left to rest in peace. I hope that as many people as possible can see our older brother.”




3. He only recently joined his agency.
In March of 2024, he made his debut with the agency, Big Title. The CEO of Big Title, Hwang Joo-hye, wrote, "The guy who said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip ended up going on a very long trip. It was so sudden. Although it was a short time, I was grateful to be your representative, and I am sorry.”
4. He passed away due to cardiac arrest.
When news first broke of Min Jae’s passing, it was still unclear what had caused his death. Newer reports state that the actor had passed away due to cardiac arrest while he was traveling in China. He had no prior history of any illness.
5. His latest work can be seen on "My Damn Business" (2024).
One of his most recent works before his passing is a Youtube web series titled My Damn Business (2024). It’s a Korean BL drama that revolves around two salesmen. You can catch him in episode six as one of the client CEOs.
Park Min Jae’s wake is at the Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall. His funeral will be held on December 4, 2024.
