1. Junji is an Aries.

Junji was born on March 29, 1991. She was born in Thailand to a Filipina mother and Thai father. She is now 31 years old!

2. Junji has two sisters!

Junji has an older sister named Juntra and a younger sister named Emerald. Their mother, Editha Davantes, was a student at Philippine Women’s University.

3. She can understand and speak Filipino!

Based on some of her comments on social media as well as some video posts, Junji is not unfamiliar with the Filipino language. In fact, in one video, she is seen saying ‘po’ and asking her mother to say ‘magandang umaga.’

4. Junji is an actress, singer, dancer, and model.

Junji’s acting debut was in 2016 for the show Nakak Nangek also known as Mask of the Leading Lady, which she top-billed alongside four other actors. She has starred in nine other shows afterward, either headlining the production or acting in supporting roles.

5. She was part of a girl group!

A scroll of her Instagram account will show that the actress also has a knack for performing. Well, Junji was actually part of a five-member girl group called Gai-A which was formed in 2013 but they disbanded three years later.

6. Junji enjoys making TikTok videos!

Even though she is no longer part of a girl group, Junji’s love for dancing never faded. She keeps this passion alive by dancing to music on TikTok, either by herself or with fellow co-workers just for fun!

7. Junji is a dog lover.

Junji is a proud owner of a few little dogs which she always features on her Instagram! She gives them all the TLC they need, even bringing them to the vet herself for check-ups. She also makes sure they celebrate their birthdays in style with cakes and props! 

8. She’s got an eclectic sense of style.

Perhaps influenced by her dancing, Junji’s sartorial aesthetic is largely sporty and casual. She likes mixing athleisure pieces like sports bras or crop tops with edgy pieces like cargo pants and Doc Martens. On the other side of the spectrum, Junji also likes to keep it fun and flirty in mini skirts and cut-out dresses.

Aside from sharing her many passions with her 700k+ followers, she also frequently shares all her giddy fangirl moments for the K-pop superstar Lisa–whom she actually met in person! She even posts snippets of Lisa’s music videos and awards on her Instagram.

10. Her latest post with Mario was in 2021.

The low-key couple rarely posts about each other online. Junji’s last photo with Mario on her Instagram was back in December 2021 when she greeted him on his birthday. In Mario’s account, his last post featuring Junji was in February 2022 for Valentine’s Day where she was pictured holding a bouquet of roses!

Back in 2019, Junji addressed rumors of a break-up which surfaced just because the couple was not active on social media: “My relationship with Mario Maurer is still the same. We have never posted a photo taken together on Instagram, that’s why the rumor comes out.”

“We’re so busy at this time. We meet each other when we have a free time. We don’t have a plan for travelling together. For a future plan, we have never thought about it yet.”
