What Is “Twinkling Watermelon”?
Eun Gyeol, a bright and responsible young boy with musical talents is at the center of the story. As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Eun Gyeol carries the weight of bridging the auditory and silent worlds. Despite diligently pursuing his studies to fulfill his father's expectations, his true passion for music remains fervent.
An unexpected twist occurs when he finds himself transported to the year 1995 through a mysterious music store. In this unfamiliar era, Eun Gyeol encounters his younger father, Ha Yi Chan, and seizes the opportunity to start a band named Watermelon Sugar.
Leading the cast is Ryeoun as Eun Gyeol, whose previous works include 18 Again and Adult Trainee. Meanwhile, completing the rest of the main cast are Choi Hyun Wook (Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Racket Boys), Seol In Ah (Business Proposal), and Shin Eun Soo (Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol).
