Even as a student at De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, David Licauco had other plans apart from acting. Sure, he's made it pretty big at this point, especially after the success of Maria Clara at Ibarra, but he's still nevertheless managed to keep his eye on growing and maintaining his business acumen. And he's done pretty well, to say the least.
After starting off with running franchised restaurants (which he's done for more than a decade now) with his mother, Licauco's first business franchise happened to be a Turks shawarma stall back in 2019. Now, the actor seems to have quite an expansive portfolio, ramping up his progress since the pandemic.
Licauco manages several food, beverage, and construction businesses on the side. He even has some gym chains to his name, too. The 28-year-old Kapuso performer actually holds many titles, really. As it stands he sits as president of DJA Fitlife Corporation and Kuya Korea Corporation, CEO of MAD Business Group, and co-founder of As Nature Intended.
Here's a little background on some of the ones he currently owns and operates. We might be familiar with one or two of them, to say the least.

His first business As Nature Intended is a health and wellness-centric online shop that offers various goods, from vegan food skincare products to nutraceuticals and sports supplements, as well as wine. It was meant to show people that they could make easier, healthier choices in their lifestyle.
Sobra Comfort Filipino Food and Sobra Cafe

Like As Nature Intended, Sobra Comfort Filipino Food was established during the pandemic to meet the demands of e-groceries and online deliveries. It was a food delivery service that sold all-day Filipino breakfast meals during the lockdown. It eventually would blossom into a restaurant, opening up a physical store in Alabang called Sobra Cafe.

Then came another food endeavor for the actor, the online burger store 25th Burgers. Together with Marvin Agustin, David came up with the concept for the burger restaurant.
Kuya Korea

Located at UP Town Center, Kuya Korea happens to be Licauco's fourth food concept store. This time, it focuses on Korean rice bowls and chicken meals. The idea for such was said to have come after exploring the possibility of combining samngyeopsal and Filipino meals.
