Judge Ahn Sung Jae has earned a reputation in the series for his discerning taste buds, which comes with the territory of his stature. As the chef and owner behind Seoul’s only three-Michelin star restaurant Mosu, diners can expect only the cream of the crop at his fine-dining establishment. The original Seoul branch is currently on hiatus, but those in the Philippines can enjoy Mosu an hour-flight away at its Hong Kong offshoot.

Fabrizio Ferrari

Despite being born Italian, Fabrizio Ferrari is a familiar face for South Korea's regular cooking show viewers. Before he stepped foot on the Korean TV scene, Fabrizio—nicknamed "Chef Fabri"—already had an impressive resume in his hands, working for Michelin-starred restaurants such as Noma and Piazza Duomo. The chef then ran his family-owned Al Porticciolo 84 in Lake Cuomo, which also has the famed Michelin approval under its belt. He later moved to South Korea, where he has a regular stint in several shows, as well as his own restaurant, Fabrizio's Kitchen.

Kwon Sung Joon “Napoli Matfia”

Kwon Sung Joon stole the show for his proficiency in Italian cuisine while offering a dash of a Korean touch. With skills learned in the two-Michelin star restaurant near Naples, Italy, the series’ “Napoli Matfia” lends his know-how to his own restaurant, Via Toledo Pasta Bar in Seoul. After his stint in the series, the restaurant received such an overwhelming demand that scalpers began selling their reservations!

Kim Tae Sung "Hidden Genius"

The "Hidden Genius" of the series Kim Tae Sung was on the receiving end of high praise from judge Ahn Sung Jae for his take on a traditional aglio olio. Diners can easily see the buzz of his cuisine at Pono Buono in Seoul's Gangnam district, where they serve Italian fusion dishes, with only two pasta offerings.
