If you want to explore the country's different cities—other than that of the bustling Incheon, you can go straight to other underrated cities such as Cheongju which can soon be accessed through the Cheongju International Airport. Don't worry, there's no need for layovers as Aero K will offer direct flights from Clark International Airport to Cheongju starting in November.

What to know about this new flight from Clark to Cheongju, South Korea:

In a Facebook post by Clark International Airport, it was announced that Aero K--a low-cost airport based in South Korea--will start offering daily direct flights to and from Cheongju through its airport starting November 24

Aero K's daily flight from Clark departs at 1:50 a.m. and arrives at Cheongju at 6:30 a.m., which totals a flight duration of four hours and 40 minutes. As for the return flight, the plane departs Cheongju at 10 p.m. and arrives at Clark at 1:50 a.m. This specific route uses the flight numbers RF 521 or RF 522.

How much is the direct flight to Cheongju, South Korea:

Upon checking the website and trying to book a roundtrip Clark-to-Cheongju flight within the year, the cheapest one-way seat we found costs KRW 50,000 (roughly P2,102.49), but with the added taxes and fees, it totals to KRW 128,700 (roughly P5,411.81)

Cheongju is a great destination for nature lovers as its top tourist destinations are all scenic scapes, such as the Jeongbukdong Toseong Fortress, a castle built on flat land along the Mihocheon Stream; the Midongsan Arboretum, where you can find all kinds of wild plants and flowers, fruit-bearing trees, and more; and the Munam Ecological Park that's known for its field of colorful tulips. Of course, there are also a number of museums and temples in Cheongju for traveling history buffs.
